Halo 5 conditioner
Controls hard water scale without salt or chemicals. It is a conditioner, not a softener: it dissolves existing scale, prevents new scale and inhibits corrosion, with no maintenance.
H2 Zero Ultimate
Zero maintenance, zero electricity, zero backwash and zero filter changes. Premium carbon removes chlorine and chloramines, and it handles hard water problems.
HALO Hybrid
A 2-in-1 system with a smaller footprint that reduces chlorine and stops scale buildup.
CK10 water softener
A salt-based softener for the feel of soft water. It prevents scale and rust buildup; pellet salt works best.
Ultra Plus reverse osmosis
An under-sink drinking water system with an alkalinity booster. It removes chlorine, chloramines and sediment, and its smart faucet tells you when to change filters.

What Halo water systems cost in Tampa Bay

Whole-home installs include the backwash drain where the system needs one, a hose bib connection, a bypass where possible and the pipe and fittings to connect it (the H2 Zero Ultimate also includes a pressure reducing valve and a ball valve). An outdoor install needs a galvanized enclosure, quoted separately. Systems that need power need a 120 volt outlet within 15 feet; if there is none, a new outlet is quoted separately. Manufacturer warranties are 10 years on parts for the Halo 5, H2 Zero Ultimate and HALO Hybrid, and 5 years on the CK10, with 2 years on our labor.

Is the Halo 5 a water softener?
No. The Halo 5 is a water conditioner. It controls hard water scale without salt or chemicals, dissolves existing scale and prevents new scale, but it does not take the hardness minerals out the way a softener does. If you want water that feels soft, that is a salt softener like the Halo CK10.
Which Halo system removes chloramine?
The Halo H2 Zero Ultimate ($4,999) removes chlorine and chloramines for the whole house, and the Halo Ultra Plus reverse osmosis ($1,749) removes them at the kitchen sink for drinking water.
What is the difference between the Halo 5 and the H2 Zero Ultimate?
The Halo 5 focuses on hard water scale. The H2 Zero Ultimate uses premium carbon to remove chlorine and chloramines and also handles hard water problems, with zero maintenance, electricity, backwash or filter changes.
What warranty comes with a Halo system?
The Halo 5, H2 Zero Ultimate and HALO Hybrid carry a 10 year manufacturer warranty on parts, and the CK10 softener 5 years. We add 2 years on our labor.
Can a Halo system be installed outside?
Yes. An outdoor install needs a galvanized enclosure to protect the system, which is quoted separately.
Do you install other water softener brands?
Yes. We recommend Rheem, Halo, North Star and Safety Zone first, and we install any softener brand you buy.
