Do you charge extra for nights/weekends?

No after-hours surcharge. Same $279 minimum labor whether it’s 3 PM Tuesday or 3 AM Saturday. Unlike most competitors.

What counts as an emergency?

Anything you can’t safely wait on. Burst pipe, no AC in 95°F heat, no heat in cold snap, sewage backup, gas smell, no water. If unsure, call — we’ll tell you if it can wait or needs immediate dispatch.

What about gas leaks?

LEAVE the house immediately. Don’t use switches or phones inside. Call TECO Peoples Gas 813-275-3700 first. Then us from outside. We handle appliance + piping repairs after gas is shut off.

How fast can you arrive?

Typical Tampa Bay response: 60-120 minutes for same-day emergencies. Storm nights may be 2-4 hours due to call volume. We’ll give you an ETA when dispatched.

Are you licensed + insured?

Yes — CAC1819196 (HVAC) and CFC1431159 (Plumbing). Fully insured. All techs background-checked.

Can you come out on Christmas / Thanksgiving / 4th of July?

Yes. We dispatch 365 days a year including major holidays.

What if I just need to turn off my water?

Main water valve is usually at street/front of house. We can walk you through over the phone if needed while a tech is en route.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Emergency service is pay-per-visit. Our Therapy Plans ($10-$40/mo per system) offer priority dispatch and 15% off repairs, but completely optional.

What areas do you cover for emergencies?

All of Tampa Bay: Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Largo, Seminole, Pinellas Park, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Carrollwood, Valrico, Temple Terrace, Plant City, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Land O’ Lakes, New Port Richey, Holiday, and more.

What should I do while waiting?

Burst pipe: shut off main water, remove valuables from affected area. Gas leak: stay outside. AC emergency in heat: open windows if cooler outside, take kids/pets/elderly to a cooler location. Frozen pipes: keep faucets dripping. Document everything with photos for insurance.

Will insurance cover it?

Most homeowners insurance covers sudden emergency damage (burst pipe, storm damage). Gradual issues often not covered. Document everything — we provide detailed invoices for insurance claims.

What do you NOT handle?

We don’t do: structural, roofing, major electrical rewiring, septic tank pumping, or underground water line main repair (that’s city utility). Everything else HVAC + plumbing — yes.
