All right, today we're in Lando Lace taking a look at this leak on this cover pipe. We diagnosed about a week ago and we're just coming back now to repair it. Uh the previous installers did a terrible job welding this pipes. So the first thing that we do once we open the system is we flush it out with our R11 copper flush and some nitrogen to get as much oil out of the system as possible. Once the copper lines are nice and clean, we get started assembling the copper for the repair. We had to bend it a little bit just to get a nice and smooth transition. We then solder the copper lines and make sure there are no leaks on it. Once we're finished, we move on to the condenser unit outside. We put in a new dryer filter to remove any humidity and any residue on the lines. Then we hook up the vacuum pump to vacuum up the system and recharge the unit with R410A refrigerant. Once we're finished, we make sure that the unit was cooling up a 20° difference. We're done with this one and we're on to the next
We service every brand and install Goodman and Daikin AC systems, Rheem water heaters, and Rheem and Halo water softeners. FREE estimates and a FREE diagnosis on service calls.
