How do I know if my house AC needs freon? Yeah, for you to know if the AC unit needs freon, you need to get the gauges on, like AC gauges on the system. That way, you're going to be able to know if it's low or not. You can also touch the bigger pipe on the condenser unit, and if it's not cold, like beer can cold, like people say, if it's not like that, then most likely long for you. [Music]
