How long should an AC run to cool one degree? I can't answer that honestly. There's no right answer for that because it depends in a lot of factors. A lot of factors out there. What I can say about it is at least in our area, you want to see an AC unit running anywhere from maybe 10 to even 14 hours a day. It might sound like a lot, but an AC unit is not only there to cool your house, it's also there to control humidity, especially in our area. So, if you have an AC unit that cools too quickly, it's not taking the humidity out of the room, out of the house. And that's a problem. You want that humidity to go at least below 55%. So if you have an AC unit that runs too little, then you're not taking humidity out. Telling you how long it takes for one degree is impossible. Depends on a lot of factors. [Music]
