if someone has like a 15 or 20y old air conditioner but it's quote unquote like working fine like they're not having any issues do you think they should like replace it you should definitely replace it and not only because I'm the AC guy again efficiency is a big thing and when you have a unit that old you're very likely to have other issues that you probably don't know about like organic growth inside the unit things like mole or similar right that have been accumulated for years and years and years so that alone is something that even though the AC is cooling fine is making you sick inside your own home and besides that again the efficiency is also a big thing replacing a 15 to 20 year old unit with a new one you'll probably be looking at a 15 to 30% decrease in your energy build just by doing that [Music]
