Today we're going to be replacing the fan motor on this condenser. This unit was under warranty, so the homeowner didn't have to pay for the new motor. He only had to pay for the labor. Once we got the motor off, we had to use the extractor to get the blades off because they were not coming off that easily. Basically, this tool connects to the blades and when you rotate the screw, it pushes against the axle and it gets the motor off the blades. This replacement was pretty easy. It only took us about 30 to 45 minutes. And once we got everything off, we checked the temperatures and we checked the refrigerant levels just to make sure everything was running smooth since we weren't able to measure it beforehand. We're done with this one and we're off to the next one.
