is it worth repairing a 10 20y old air conditioner repairing a 10 or 20 year old air conditioning is worth it sometimes once of the time it's not any unit after 10 years doesn't have any warranty on parts that means that if you need a big part like a coil like a compressor you're going to be paying a lot of money just for the part usually over $1,000 for any of those parts that I just mentioned that's without including any of my labor or any other materials needed so if your unit is over 10 years you have no warranty and you have a big problem like a back compressor or back coil no worth repairing replace it you're going to put close to $3,000 of more into a 10 year old unit with no warranty it's not worth it just get a new one it's going to cost you more but you're going to have 10 years of warranty on Parts labor way more efficient unit you're going to save money long term
