Citrus Park AC Just Stopped Working? How Fast We Can Be There
Citrus Park (ZIP 33625) is a 1980s and 1990s suburban grid where many homes had their original 10-SEER condensers swapped for 14-SEER units in the 2010s but with undersized line sets that still cause low-charge faults today. When your AC quits, indoor temps cross 88 degrees within an hour. We dispatch from our Linebaugh Avenue shop via Veterans Expressway north to Gunn Highway west in 20 minutes off-peak with capacitors, contactors, fan motors, and R-410A on the truck. FREE diagnosis on every call.

Three Citrus Park Specifics That Change Our AC Repair
Undersized Line Set Low-Charge Faults
Citrus Park's 2010s-era condenser swap-outs often kept the original 1980s line set (3/8 inch suction, 7/8 inch liquid) which works for a 2-ton system but not a 3 or 3.5 ton 14-SEER replacement. We see low-charge no-cooling complaints from Logan Gate Village and Country Run that turn out to be undersized suction line restriction, not a refrigerant leak. We diagnose suction-line restriction during the FREE visit and tell you whether a line set swap would extend equipment life.
Free suction-pressure diagnosis on every Citrus Park call.
Attic Air Handler Heat Stress
Most Citrus Park homes have the air handler in an attic platform that hits 130 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit on July afternoons. That summer heat cooks ECM modules, capacitors, and blower motors years earlier than a conditioned-space install. We carry 35/5, 40/5, 45/5, 50/5, 55/5, 60/5 mfd capacitors plus 24V and 240V contactors on every truck so 80 percent of Citrus Park repair calls finish in one visit.
Capacitor replacement runs $129 to $279 with FREE diagnosis.
Mature Suburban Tree Canopy Coil Fouling
Citrus Park's 40-plus year old subdivisions have mature oak and pine canopy dropping debris into outdoor condenser coils, blocking airflow, driving head pressure up, and burning capacitors out faster. We rinse coils with low-pressure fresh water and foaming coil cleaner during every FREE diagnosis. That single rinse often resolves the no-cooling complaint without parts.
Free coil rinse with every Citrus Park diagnosis.

2026 R-454B Refrigerant Transition and Older R-410A Citrus Park Units
Effective January 1, 2026, every new residential AC sold in the United States ships with R-454B refrigerant. R-410A equipment is still legal to service and we keep R-410A stocked, but production has wound down and per-pound pricing has risen sharply. For a Citrus Park repair on an R-410A system: capacitor, contactor, fan motor, and electrical repairs are unaffected. A refrigerant recharge or leak repair on a 10 plus year old R-410A system gets more expensive each year as supply tightens. We will tell you when repair is still smart and when it tips toward replace.
Not sure whether to fix or replace your Citrus Park AC? Call (813) 343-2212 for a FREE diagnosis with written numbers.
