What does a dying AC compressor look like? A dying AC compressor is going to look exactly the same as in a live one. It's not about how it looks, it's about how it sounds. So the sounds of the compressor is going to tell you a lot. You want that compressor to be huming smoothly. Like if you hear like a consistent humming, most of the time it means it's good. When you have a problem on the compressor, it's going to get very loud or it's going to get super quiet. You don't want either of the two. They're going to look exactly the same. The sound is what's going to give it away most of the time. [Music]
